Many of us know Golden, Colorado, (located in Jefferson County) from the Coors Beer commercials. But there is much more to Golden than just beer! Golden is situated along Clear Creek, and at the eastern edge of the foothills of the Front Range of the Rockies. Founded during the Pike's Peak Gold Rush in 1859, Golden was originally a mining camp. Golden lies just north of I-70 and just west of Denver, and is considered part of the Denver Metro area. Those miners could have used some storage back then, but if you find yourself in Golden and in need of some extra space to store your "treasures," you are in luck, as there are three convenient locations throughout the city.
If you are in need of storage in East Golden, two blocks southwest of Westland Plaza, and two blocks east of Golden Hill cemetery is Public Storage at 1398 Simms Street, which you will find at the southeast intersection of West Colfax Avenue (highway 40) and Simms Street.
If you are slightly north of Golden city center, right off West 44th Avenue is Public Storage at 4403 Table Mountain Drive. In the Mountain Crest are of Golden, storage is available at Public Storage (850 Simms Street), just a few miles southeast of Gary McDonnell Park.
