The city of Longmont is located in Boulder and Weld Counties in Colorado. "Longmont" comes from Longs Peak, a prominent mountain named for explorer Stephen H. Long that is clearly visible from Longmont; ("mont" is French for mountain.) The city is located northeast of the county seat of Boulder and 31 miles north-northwest of the Colorado State Capitol in Denver. If you are in the eastern section of Longmont, Sugar Mill Self Storage (755 Weaver Park Road) is located northwest of the intersection of Ken Pratt Boulevard (highway 119) and East 3rd Avenue, six blocks south of Rothrock Dell Park. Sunnyvale Self Storage (820 Lashley Street), located northeast of Longmont's city center is between Kensington Park and Clark Centennial Park, at the southeast intersection of East 9th Avenue and Lashley Street.
