The city of Thornton is in Adams and Weld counties of Colorado and a northern suburb of Denver, on the east side of Interstate 25. Thornton consisted solely of farmland until 1953. Since that time, it has become a highly residential area.
And for those who have "outgrown their residence" Thornton offers four conveniently located self storage facilities, including Cottonwood Self Storage 2290 East 120th Avenue, located west of Thornton's city center, just at the intersection of 120th Avenue and the railroad tracks. Just two blocks east of Highland Memorial Gardens at the southeast intersection of East 104th and Washington Streets is North Washington Self Storage (10350 Washington Street), just a few blocks north of Grange Ditch.
Far south of Thornton, close to Westminster is Public Storage (7333 York Street) at the northwest intersection of East 70th Avenue (highway 224) and York Street. Closer to Northglenn than to Thornton is storage facility Stor N Lock located at 12298 Pennsylvania Street, not far from Farmer's Highline Trail Park and across Washington Street from Ohio Lake and Thorncreek Crossing.
